Has anyone ever used a concrete inlay in their concrete countertop? Was it successful or would it shrink or crack if one did so. I have a nice circle I made (1/4 inch thick) that id like to add into my countertop to add color since the rest is going to be charcoal .
It should be fine...it should essentially polish up with the rest of your piece. You might need to pull a tight silicone bead around it so the other concrete doesn't settle in around it when you pour. If we inlay any piece at our shop we place silicone around it but pull it tight.
